Your language My language -- Beating softy In the heart's deep chamber --- Bengali. Your hope My hope ---- Flowing together In one living breath -- Bengali, The language of our soul. Mother's tender smile --- Bengali. Mother's boundless love --- Bengali. In her lullaby, In her gentle call --- Bengali. In poems that bloom, In songs that soar, In the secret music Of every heart ---- Bengali. In rhythm and rhyme, In harmony's chime, Binding us together In unity divine ---- Bengali. The apple of our eyes, A treasure - house of gems, A radiant jewel In history's crown ---- Bengali. In every slogan that shakes the sky, In every fearless cry --- Speak it loud, Speak it proud ----- Bengali. Drifting through dreams of creation and joy, Our pride,our promise, Our shinning identity --- Bengali. Poem : I Love Shillong
I love Shillong, I love Shillong, And yes, I love Shillong. Even today I see your image In the canvas of my mind. I love you, Shillong I truly love you. I often think Did God Himself Paint your beauty On the hills ? Shillong, you look beautiful, You really look beautiful. Trees and greenery wrapped Around soothing hills ----- Like a land from fairly tales. You look wonderful, Shillong,you look wonderful. The sun and clouds Play together all day long. Watching it all, My heart overflows With waves of joy. " Shillong,I love you" My heart whispers aloud. When Waterfalls, Come dancing down the mountains, Every joy within me Starts dancing like waves. Shillong, I love you. You are the jewel In the eyes of thousands of travelers. Even from afar, I still hear your call. And silently I say ----- I will come again, Shillong, I will come to you. Poem : Mother Durga Is Coming

Last time, I had wished to say -- O Mother, grant me the strength to gift my wife a new sari, to clothe my child in fresh attire -- But the words never left my lips. Instead,within my heart I prayed O Slayer of Demons, do not falter in Your battle ! Yet even that remained unsaid. And when You arrived ,Mother, Your Presence filled me with such joy That I forgot everything else.
