No one wins in war, In war, what wins in anguish. No one wins in war, In war,what wins is poverty. No one wins in war , In war , what wins is cruelty. No one wins in war, In war,what wins is pollution. No one wins in war, In war,what wins is death. Poem : Mother Durga Is Coming

My heart whispers -- Mother Durga is coming.

So many words rise within me,
yet they remain unspoken.
The thoughts of heart
Stay  locked within.

Last time, I had wished to say --
O Mother, grant me the strength
to gift my wife a new sari,
to clothe my child in fresh attire --
But the words never left my lips.

Instead,within my heart I prayed
O Slayer of Demons,
do not falter in Your battle !
Yet even that remained unsaid.

And when You arrived ,Mother,
Your Presence filled me with such joy
That I forgot everything else.

But this time I shall speak,
I must speak ----
Mother, make me the demon myself
Mother, make me the demon.
