No  one  loses  in  war --- Yet  peace  is  defeated. No  one  loses  in  war --- Yet  happiness  is  defeated. No  one  loses  in  war --- Yet  hope  is  defeated. No  one  loses in war --- Yet  love  is defeated. No  one  loses  in war ---- Yet  joy  is  defeated. No  one loses  in  war --- Yet smiling faces are defeated. No  one  loses  in  war ---- Yet  dreams  are  defeated. No  one  loses  in  war --- Yet  delight  is  defeated. No  one  loses  in  war --- Yet  generosity  is  defeated. Poetry : Creation

(This is the english version of my  bengali poetry  'Sristy'. The seed kissed the soil and whispered, "Will you love me a little?" The earth said to the sky ------ " Drench me a bit, Let me turn muddy with joy So I may embrace the seed ." The sky called upon the clouds. A gentle rain arrived. The seed said to the Sun " Grant me a little light." The Sun replied, " So be it  !" In the warmth of embrace and the love of oxygen, the seed, intoxicated with joy, dreamed of creation in golden light. Poem : Mother Durga Is Coming

Last time, I had wished to say -- O Mother, grant me the strength to gift my wife a new sari, to clothe my child in fresh attire -- But the words never left my lips. Instead,within my heart I prayed O Slayer of Demons, do not falter in Your battle ! Yet even that remained unsaid. And when You arrived ,Mother, Your Presence filled me with such joy That I forgot everything else.
