Holi means Lord Krishna, Holi means Radha dear, Holi means forgetting all divisions, Living as brothers, far and near. Holi means a heart dyed red, Holi means Vrindavan's cheer, In the waves of joy and celebration, India's hearts draw near. Holi means the fair of Dol, The festival of spring's embrance, All the dirt within the mind, Let it fall ------ leave not a trace. Holi means faces smeared with gulal, Holi means colorful dreams that rise, Holi means a youthful heart, It's very first love in disguise. Your language My language -- Beating softy In the heart's deep chamber --- Bengali. Your hope My hope ---- Flowing together In one living breath -- Bengali, The language of our soul. The apple of our eyes, A treasure - house of gems, A radiant jewel In history's crown ---- Bengali. In every slogan that shakes the sky, In every fearless cry --- Speak it loud, Speak it proud ----- Bengali. Drifting through dreams of creation and joy, Our pride,our promise, Our shinning identity --- Bengali.
