Poem : A Moment with Conscience






One day I suddenly met my conscience.
I said " What's the matter ?
These days I hardly ever see you ! "
Hearing me, my conscience brust into 
laughter.
It said, " Earlier you used to keep me in the mirror,
And I too would find the chance
To sting you from time to time.
But now -------
I'm locked away in the deep freez,
solid  ice ."
