Poem : Holi

Holi means Lord Krishna,

Holi means Radha dear,

Holi means forgetting all divisions,

Living as brothers, far and near.

Holi means a heart dyed red,

Holi means Vrindavan's cheer,

In the waves of joy and celebration,

India's hearts draw near.

Holi means the fair of Dol,

The festival of spring's embrance,

All the dirt within the mind,

Let it fall ------ leave not a trace.

Holi means faces smeared with gulal,

Holi means colorful dreams that rise,

Holi means a youthful heart,

It's very first love in disguise.

Holi means forgetting hatred,

Holi means letting go of spite,

Let this holi lead us forward ---

A fair of unity and light.
