If the mirror reflects the face,
The eyes mirror the soul.

The heart reads the language of the eyes,
Not the words of the lips.

It is the speech of the eyes that remains.

Last time, I had wished to say -- O Mother, grant me the strength to gift my wife a new sari, to clothe my child in fresh attire -- But the words never left my lips. Instead,within my heart I prayed O Slayer of Demons, do not falter in Your battle ! Yet even that remained unsaid. And when You arrived ,Mother, Your Presence filled me with such joy That I forgot everything else.
