Year's end, year's start, In every heart, joy takes part. New the year,new the hope On dreams anew,we gladly float. New the tune, new the life A song of joy, hearts inspire. Let all gloom and age be gone, Let hearts with happiness be shone. New the peace, new the cheer, In the new year,sorrow will clear. New the touch,new the face, In love anew, a sweet embrace. Poem : Mother Durga Is Coming

Last time, I had wished to say -- O Mother, grant me the strength to gift my wife a new sari, to clothe my child in fresh attire -- But the words never left my lips. Instead,within my heart I prayed O Slayer of Demons, do not falter in Your battle ! Yet even that remained unsaid. And when You arrived ,Mother, Your Presence filled me with such joy That I forgot everything else.
