(A poem on Umiam Lake of Meghalaya ,India) Though today the sky is cloudy, Light and shadow softly play. Umiam ---- around you gathers A fair of trees in green array. A gentle breeze flows calm and sweet, Waves rise with a murmuring sound. My soul finds peace beholding you ---- As though someone lit joy all around. At the call of birds, My heart longs to drift away. My eyes are filled with your beauty --- I wish to return someday. Sometimes 
Familiar faces  seem  so  strange.
Sometimes
The shadow  frightens  more than the body.
Sometimes
Cunning tricks made one seem wise.

Remember
No one truely belongs to anyone....
In the end, time will have the final say.
